ROCOCO REALNESS
Murby: Mad hats
This was a trial project by the designer Marie Murby. She wanted to see if there was a market for fuzzy hats in Norway and wanted to play around with it. On this project, I acted as an art director and photographer.

This is a project by my friend who is a hairdresser specialising in colour. She needed help with capturing some photos for a competition. For this project, the art direction for photos based on the hair inspiration she presented to me. I was to work with harsh shadows to truly emphasise the texture of the hair and bring attention to the hair colour and style.

A restaurant was trying to appeal to a new target audience as they were one if not the only restaurants close to the famous Aker Brygge in Oslo that remains independent from the huge restaurant collectives. This was a group project where I acted as the photographer to generate content for the fall/winter season that will attract the demographic that appreciates refined casual dining that is on the mid-high end pricing. The photos were to appear luxurious, but also emphasise on the dress code of the restaurant as they had not yet had enough traction to establish their desired casual dress code.
Project; Misplacement
/From Miriam Time
I wanted to express the culture crash young Africans in Norway often go through. The internal debate many have with themselves. As if the confusion of puberty and searching for our identities was not enough, we also have our unique struggles with finding a true sense of belonging.
I wanted to prove that it is possible to represent both sides of our respective cultures, and belong equally to both. However, I would also like to point out that it is our job, as the next generation, to discard what poor qualities they may possess, and keep the good. In this way, we may in turn form our own culture. This is us, confused in an intermediary between two completely different worlds, MISPLACEMENT.
